Letter to C2 Presidents

Hello Everyone,

Today is the last day of the first month of our new year. I know that everyone in C2 has been offering special programs, Open Houses, debates and more. We are definitely a happening Area! There are still Clubs that need to get their Officers trained, before the end of August. In case you will not be able to attend scheduled training offered outside of Division C, I am planning a two-hour Saturday session in Huntington Beach.

I would like to use the training as a combined Executive Council Meeting and Officer Training. If you have ever served as a District Officer and already attended training, I will be asking you to help train the new officers. More information to follow.

In case you haven't seen it yet, I have a Area C2 Director's Blog [ http://fdc2.blogspot.com ] that is also visible through Club 100's Portal [ http://100.toastmastersclubs.org ]. There are three important pages 1) the Calendar page - listing upcoming events; 2) Club Updates - which list short descriptions of what is going on in each of the clubs; and 3) Contest Central - source of information related to our upcoming Area C2 Contest on October 3rd. Stella Mahakian is our year long Contest Chair and is experienced at running club contests, so please, let her help you plan.

The Area C2 Assistant Director Carlos Copara is a professional graphic designer - so we hope to show the rest of Founders District just how awesome Area C2 is!
